The purpose of the article is to study the main aspects of the innovative development of Ukraine, taking into account its priority to ensure the economic growth of the state as a whole.
In the process of writing the article, a number of methods were used that ensured the conceptual integrity of the research, in particular: monographic; theoretical generalization; analysis; synthesis; method of induction, deduction; method of comparative and statistical analysis.
The results of the study indicate a rather low level of innovative development of Ukraine, which is confirmed to some extent by the rather mediocre places of the country in international rankings. Unfortunately, the country's enterprises are not very interested in introducing innovations, for this they need state support and small amounts of investment from foreign investors, which generally indicates the feasibility of creating the necessary conditions for this. As a result of the analysis of innovative activity, problems inhibiting the economic development of the state were identified, and appropriate conclusions and proposals were made.
The conclusions emphasize the important role of the state in the innovative development of Ukrainian enterprises, indicate the need for state policy in this direction, and emphasize the need to create a state innovation infrastructure. The importance of the development of education and science as a necessary foundation for the implementation of innovative ideas and developments is indicated. In order to increase the competitiveness of the country, it is necessary to introduce and stimulate innovative activities. Prospects for further research are based on the experience of introducing innovations at enterprises of Ukraine and EU countries, taking into account the prospects of Ukraine's European integration. Measures for the implementation of the state innovation policy should include programs and projects to increase competitive, potentially priority industries with the help of attracting private institutional investors (commercial banks, investment funds, etc.) to the implementation of innovations, as well as the formation of a regime of economic stimulation of the innovative development of entrepreneurship.
