Abstract

The aim of the article  is to identify the scope of using information and communication technologies in human resources management and identify the advantages, barriers, threats and challenges they create in HR management. It has been established that the digital transformation of HR management includes the analysis of resumes of job applicants through special systems, automation and digitization of employee hiring processes, planning based on Big Data career growth, rewarding employees, identifying gaps in their skills and education. It has been established that the main advantages of information and communication technologies in HR management include increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs, improving management processes, improving the quality of communications, increasing awareness of current events in the organization, using available self-service functions (submitting an application for vacation, changing the number accounts for payment of wages, planning vacations, etc.). Information and communication technologies allow remote work. It is substantiated that the main obstacles to the introduction of information systems and technologies in the management of enterprises should include the following: slow down in the processing of modern fast-changing information flows, a reduction in the scale of development and introduction of information systems and technologies as a result of a significant outflow of IT specialists abroad, difficulties in ensuring continuous use of the Internet -technologies, gradual isolation of workers, emergence of a new disease called "fear of missing out". Wide access to communication technologies does not mean that employees have a sufficiently high level of virtual competences. Virtual competencies include three components: virtual effectiveness, virtual social competencies, and social media skills. These competencies are of interest to employers today. Therefore, enterprises seeking to increase efficiency and productivity through the use of information and communication technologies should consider their implementation in the context of advantages and threats that arise for them and the individual employee.
