Implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in the context of improving administrative management

Abstract

The study aims to analyze scientific and practical approaches to implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to improve administrative management. In modern conditions, ERP systems become an essential tool for increasing the efficiency of enterprises by integrating various business functions into a single platform. However, implementing ERP is associated with several difficulties, including significant financial investments and the need for organizational changes.

Research methods include analyzing literary sources and applied approaches to ERP implementation, such as step-by-step system integration, customization to the organization's specifics, and change management in the enterprise. In particular, theoretical models such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Use (UTAUT) were used to understand the ERP implementation process better.

The study results show that ERP systems contribute to increasing operational efficiency and automating administrative processes, particularly improving the management of finances, human resources, and procurement. The main benefits of ERP implementation include centralized data management, which ensures consistency of data between different departments, and the ability to make decisions based on relevant data in real-time. However, implementing ERP systems is associated with risks, such as resistance from employees, high complexity of the configuration process, and integration with existing systems. Additionally, due to technical, financial, and organizational problems, there may be certain restrictions on using ERP systems.

ERP systems are a crucial tool for improving administrative management at enterprises, helping to increase their competitiveness and efficiency. However, this process requires careful planning and consideration of financial, organizational, and technical aspects. A successful ERP implementation requires a step-by-step approach, proper staff training, and ongoing system support to reduce risks and ensure efficient operation.
