The aim of the article is to study the impact of digital technologies, including big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain, on the transformation of business processes and managerial decisions. Methods. The article employs comprehensive methods, including analysis, a systematic approach, and modeling. Results. The role of digital technologies, such as big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain, in transforming business processes and managerial decisions has been explored. The main advantages of implementing digital technologies have been analyzed, including: resource management optimization; acceleration of business processes; minimization of risks associated with human error; improvement of decision-making efficiency through real-time data analysis. The main challenges of implementing digital technologies have also been reviewed, including significant investments, the need to adapt organizational culture, personnel upskilling, and ensuring data security. Furthermore, the importance of developing a strategy that combines process automation with the latest technological solutions has been emphasized. A framework for applying AI to support investment decisions in the machinery industry has been proposed, which involves the use of big data and machine learning algorithms to optimize resource management and enhance competitiveness. Conclusions. Digital technologies are a key tool for modernizing business processes and improving managerial decisions, contributing to increased resource management efficiency, cost reduction, and minimization of human error risks. Due to the capability to process vast amounts of data in real time, AI enables risk reduction, trend forecasting, and resource optimization, particularly in capital-intensive industries such as machinery manufacturing. Thus, digital technologies are not only a means to increase efficiency but also a strategic resource that determines the future development of businesses.
