Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the impact of monitoring and controlling systems on the long-term sustainability of enterprises. In today's unstable market environment, the importance of effective enterprise management is increasing, which emphasizes the significance of implementing monitoring and controlling systems. Such systems ensure timely responses to external challenges, cost optimization, and improved accuracy of managerial decisions, contributing to the stability and competitiveness of enterprises.

Purpose of the study is to analyze, systematize, and summarize the existing theoretical and methodological framework for the implementation of monitoring and controlling systems and to investigate their impact on the long-term sustainability of enterprises.

Methods. The study employed analysis and synthesis methods to explore theoretical approaches to organizing monitoring and controlling systems, and a systematization method to summarize the key advantages and challenges of their implementation. Comparative analysis was used to evaluate the effectiveness of such systems, while scenario modeling was applied to forecast their impact on enterprise stability.

Results. The article examines conceptual approaches to assessing the effectiveness of monitoring and controlling systems, focusing on their ability to support enterprise stability and competitiveness. Key aspects of effectiveness were identified, including data accuracy, decision-making efficiency, analytical quality, and adaptability to market changes. In addition to economic indicators, the study highlights the importance of technological factors such as data processing speed and the level of process automation. It was demonstrated that effective monitoring and controlling systems reduce risks, enhance productivity, and improve the financial stability of enterprises.

Conclusions. Monitoring and controlling systems are indispensable tools for enterprises aiming to achieve high performance, stability, and long-term sustainability. Their implementation contributes to cost reduction, improved product quality, and enhanced customer satisfaction. By integrating modern technologies such as automation and digitalization, enterprises can effectively respond to external challenges and maintain stable income levels even in dynamic market conditions.
