Abstract

Whether it is recovery from the global financial crisis, a recession caused by the pandemic, or industry-specific disruptions, the ability to implement effective investment strategies is crucial for sustainable growth and resilience. Financial instruments play a pivotal role in this process, offering businesses ways to navigate uncertainty and capitalize on opportunities. The purpose of the article is to examine and systematize financial instruments that support enterprise recovery investment strategies, which can achieve specific post-war recovery goals. The article addresses current issues related to financial instruments that ensure effective recovery investment strategies for enterprises. The concept of ‘financial instruments’ is defined and analyzed. Existing financial instruments and strategies for ensuring successful business recovery are analyzed and systematized, with relevant conclusions drawn. The effective use of financial instruments requires a comprehensive understanding of business objectives, market dynamics, and risk tolerance. Foreign experiences in post-war recovery investment strategies are considered, and relevant conclusions are drawn. The experience of post-war economic reconstruction in various countries is of great importance for Ukraine, which must develop its own investment strategy and the tools to implement it. Both now and in the future, investing in innovation and labor productivity is essential. For Ukraine, this is extremely necessary, as there is already a noticeable shortage of workforce. Improving labor productivity allows for profit generation with a reduced workforce, creating opportunities for wage growth. For the deficit budget, this provides an additional source of tax revenue, for producers, a vital financial resource for replenishing working capital, and for employees, an essential motivational tool for expanding employment. After the war, wages must be competitive, which will encourage Ukrainians to return to their homeland and help reduce the workforce shortage.
