Abstract

The article considers Ukraine's integration strategy in the context of modern economic challenges and its impact on the competitiveness of the national economy. It establishes that effective integration into global markets requires harmonisation of the legislative framework, elimination of regulatory barriers, modernisation of production facilities, and expansion of international cooperation.

The article aims to study Ukraine's integration policy in the context of current economic challenges and competitiveness and to substantiate approaches to improving the efficiency of strategic management of economic development. In the course of the study, the author uses the methods of system analysis to assess the structural features of the integration policy, comparative legal analysis to identify legislative changes and their impact on the economic environment, and a problem-oriented approach to identify barriers and opportunities in the implementation of the integration strategy. In addition, an analytical method is used to assess the mechanisms for attracting investment and their effectiveness in international cooperation.

It is noted that the main obstacles to integration are an imperfect regulatory environment, a high level of economic risks, insufficient coordination of public policy and insufficient institutional support.

It is emphasised that the key obstacles to integration are the imperfect regulatory environment, the high level of economic risks, the insufficient coordination of state policy, and limited institutional support.

It is emphasised that improving legislative regulation will help simplify business procedures and harmonise with European standards, digitalisation of public administration will ensure transparency and speed of economic decision-making, and strategic management will attract investments more effectively and support the development of competitive industries. The study's practical value lies in developing recommendations for improving the efficiency of economic management and creating conditions for the active integration of Ukrainian business into the global economic system.

Further research prospects include developing models for adapting Ukraine's economy to changes in global markets, assessing the impact of international cooperation on the stability of the financial system, and determining long-term strategies for economic development in view of geopolitical challenges.
