Synergy of economic development theories and digitalization of the construction

Abstract

The purpose of the article arises from the study of the relationship between the category of "digitalization" and theories of economic development to identify the impact of digital technologies on the development of the domestic construction sector.

The study used a process series of methods, which allowed to ensure the reliability of the conclusions and recommendations presented and ensured the integrity of the study, including the following: abstract-logical method - in the analysis and synthesis of the theory of economic development and the formation of conclusions, induction and deduction methods - to obtain certain conclusions when formulating conclusions based on the analysis of the theoretical base and expanding knowledge; methods of comparison and systematization - to identify key aspects of the theory of economic development and their comparison; grouping method - in identifying and determining the relationship between digitalization as a category with theories of economic development and grouping into certain groups according to the similarity of this feature.

The results of the study indicate that the presence of a connection with theories of economic development is the basis for the formation of a set of measures to increase the level of economic development of construction companies, which will contribute to the deepening of research in the direction of ensuring a synergistic effect in the construction industry, regional development and the state as a whole.

Conclusions: the study of the relationship between digitalization and theories of economic development made it possible to identify the impact of digital technologies on the development of the domestic construction industry. The research hypothesis on establishing a connection between digitalization and theories of economic development, taking into account the presence, degree and nature, was formed and gradually proven, which allows forming a set of measures to increase the level of economic development of construction companies and contribute to the deepening of research in the direction of ensuring a synergistic effect in the construction industry, regional development and the state as a whole. Prospects for further exploration lie in the development of an improved scientific and methodological approach to the formation of a mechanism for the digitalization of the construction sector with the development of preventive measures for adaptation to changes in the external and internal environment as a proactive response to the challenges and negative trends currently observed in this sector in the conditions of a full-scale war and in the period of post-war recovery.
