Substantiation of strategic imperatives for the development of transport enterprises in the context of European integration

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the state of the transport industry of Ukraine in the context of European integration, to determine the strategic directions of its development and to outline the key challenges and opportunities for the development of transport enterprises.

The methodological basis of the research is the methods of cognition, analysis and synthesis, as well as formalized, logical and statistical comparative methods.

The practical significance of the study lies in the substantiation that at the present stage, Ukrainian transport enterprises and the transport industry need to carry out integration processes into the European transport space through the modernization of infrastructure and harmonization of transport standards. Based on the analysis and assessment of the state of transport processes, the article considers strategic directions for the development of multimodal transport, implementation of European standards and reform of the regulatory framework. The identified opportunities will help transport companies identify the main challenges and formulate actions that will positively affect the level of competitiveness in the context of operating in the domestic and international markets.

The conclusions drawn on the basis of the analysis of the state of the transport industry of Ukraine, assessment of the dynamics of its development in the context of European integration and substantiation of strategic steps for its modernization, allowed to identify measures aimed at improving the efficiency of transport enterprises, improving regulatory framework and attracting investments to build a competitive transport sector
