Abstract

The adoption of digital solutions in business operations is gaining increasing importance as a key driver of economic growth, particularly amidst war, post-pandemic recovery, and the pursuit of integration into the global economy. In a modern world where technologies are rapidly transforming approaches to business management, Ukraine cannot remain detached from these processes. The purpose of this study is to conduct a thorough analysis of the implementation of digital technologies in company operations and to assess their impact on enhancing business efficiency and strengthening the overall economic resilience of the country. Methods. To achieve this goal, a comprehensive approach was employed: an analysis of scientific literature was conducted, statistical data from authoritative international organizations such as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and the World Bank were utilized, and the results of surveys of Ukrainian companies that have either initiated or are planning the digitization of their processes were examined. Results. The study revealed that digital transformation has a significant positive impact on Ukraine’s economy. Specifically, it contributes to a substantial increase in the export of IT services, which have become a vital source of foreign exchange earnings. Furthermore, the development of information and communication technologies serves as a foundation for the modernization of various economic sectors. Another important outcome is the enhancement of the population’s digital literacy, which creates preconditions for greater inclusivity and accessibility of modern innovations. Despite these achievements, Ukrainian businesses face numerous obstacles, including limited funding that hampers investment in modern technologies, a shortage of specialists trained to work with digital solutions, and insufficient awareness among entrepreneurs about the benefits and long-term advantages of digital innovations. Conclusions. Thus, digitization is not merely a tool for improving the productivity of individual enterprises but also a strategic pathway to the survival and prosperity of the entire economy amid instability and crises. For this process to succeed, active state support is essential. This could include training programs for employees and managers, the provision of financial incentives such as grants or tax benefits, and educational initiatives aimed at promoting digital technologies among small and medium-sized businesses. Such an approach will enable Ukrainian companies to adapt to new realities, enhance their competitiveness in the international market, and contribute to the country’s sustainable economic growth.
