Today, in times of an unstable external environment and legislative and regulatory challenges, enterprises need to implement measures to ensure uninterrupted operations and achieve economic growth, including protection and timely responses to threats and dangers, as well as risk management and preventive measures. The article considers the concept of "economic security of the enterprise," noting its dual nature: formation under external (corruption, raiding, fraud, espionage, etc.) and internal threats (decline in production levels, loss of meaningful connections with suppliers and consumer trust, etc.).
It is determined that economic security is the basis for the stability and development of any enterprise and includes financial stability, human resources, information security, legal stability, and the ability to adapt to changes in the external environment. The appropriate security service for the enterprise, created based on its size, capabilities, and activities, should address issues related to its provision.
It is proven that, given the current market realities and the escalation of global challenges, effective risk management plays a key role in ensuring economic security. Today, not only a timely response to threats and challenges, but also the construction of a system that anticipates dangers, grounded in legal literacy, transparency of processes, and strategic planning, is particularly relevant.
It is substantiated that the organizational and legal aspects of the formation of the economic security system set the boundaries for the stable and safe operation of the enterprise, which include: the correct choice of organizational and legal form, compliance with legislative norms, development of internal regulations, anti-crisis strategies, and risk management procedures.
It is established that since the economic security of individual enterprises is an integral part of the overall financial security of the state, ensuring the proper level of organizational and legal protection of enterprises is not only a matter of the survival of such enterprises, but also a strategic factor in strengthening the economic security of the country.
