Purpose. The purpose of the article is to examine conceptual and applied approaches to managing organizational business resilience under global challenges caused by economic instability, increased uncertainty, and transformational processes intensified by prolonged crisis conditions. Particular attention is paid to substantiating the necessity of a systemic managerial approach to ensuring sustainable business functioning in environments characterized by continuous external shocks.
Methods. The research is based on a combination of general scientific and special methods of cognition. Analysis and synthesis were applied to generalize theoretical approaches to organizational resilience. A systems approach was used to examine the interconnections between internal organizational factors and external environmental influences, allowing resilience to be considered as an integrated managerial phenomenon. Comparative analysis was employed to evaluate contemporary management concepts aimed at enhancing adaptability, flexibility, and continuity of business operations under conditions of prolonged uncertainty.
Results. The study substantiates that organizational resilience represents an integrated managerial capability that enables organizations to identify threats in a timely manner, adapt management processes to environmental changes, and maintain internal coherence during prolonged crises. The key directions of resilience management are identified, including strategic flexibility, adaptive resource management, development of managerial competencies, organizational learning, and maintenance of internal alignment. It is demonstrated that resilience is formed through integrated management mechanisms embedded in organizational structures and decision-making processes rather than through isolated anti-crisis measures.
Conclusions. The research concludes that strengthening organizational resilience under global challenges requires a transition from reactive crisis management to a proactive and systemic management model focused on long-term adaptation and sustainable development. The proposed approaches provide a theoretical basis for further research and may be applied in business management practice to reduce vulnerability to external shocks and enhance organizational stability in conditions of high uncertainty.
