Publishing Transparency and Quality Control Policy

This policy has been developed in accordance with subparagraph 11 of paragraph 7 of the Procedure for Compiling the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 56 of 19.01.2026) and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Accuracy of Published Information

All information published on the journal's website is complete, accurate, and verifiable. This applies in particular to:

  • the composition of the editorial board — including the academic degree, academic title, place of employment, country, and ORCID of each member;
  • the peer review procedure — its type, stages, reviewer selection criteria, and indicative timelines;
  • editorial policies — publication ethics, plagiarism, archiving, use of artificial intelligence, and retraction;
  • the journal's actual indexing in scientometric databases and registries;
  • the journal's status in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine;
  • the publication fee and the terms of fee waivers.

The journal does not claim indexing in databases where it is not in fact represented. Should the journal's status or the composition of its editorial board change, the relevant information is updated on the website within one month.

2. Control over the Number of Publications by a Single Author

No more than one article by the same author or co-author may be published in a single issue of the journal.

The rule is applied as follows:

  • the restriction applies regardless of whether the person is the sole author, the first author, or a co-author;
  • the restriction does not depend on the number of co-authors or on the sections to which the manuscripts belong;
  • if a second manuscript involving the same author is received for an issue already being compiled, that manuscript is transferred to the following issue, retaining its submission date and peer review outcome;
  • compliance is verified by the editorial office at the stage of issue compilation.

The rule applies to issues compiled after 14 February 2026.

3. Control over Issue Size

The size of each issue is limited in order to ensure proper peer review and editorial processing of every manuscript. The editorial office does not expand issue size at the expense of a shortened review procedure.

4. Submissions by Members of the Editorial Board

Members of the editorial board, including the Editor-in-Chief, may submit manuscripts to the journal on general terms. In such cases:

  • the author is excluded from all editorial decisions concerning their own manuscript and has no access to information about the reviewers;
  • the manuscript is handled by another member of the editorial board;
  • the same double-blind peer review procedure applies.

5. Accuracy of Dates

The HTML and PDF version of every article contains the journal's ISSN, the article DOI, the ORCID of the author(s), the open access licence, and three dates: the date of submission to the editorial office, the date of acceptance following peer review, and the date of publication. These dates reflect the actual course of the editorial process and are not amended retrospectively.

6. Correspondence between the Declared Profile and Actual Content

The journal publishes materials whose subject matter corresponds to the declared scientific profile (cluster) and the list of specialities indicated on the "About the Journal" page. Manuscripts falling outside the declared profile are not considered for review.

7. Reporting Violations

Any inaccuracies in published information or violations of this policy may be reported to the editorial office at editor@econp.com.ua. Each report is reviewed within 30 calendar days, and the person who submitted it is informed of the outcome.
