Abstract

The study examines the specifics of implementing artificial intelligence (AI) for risk management in procurement for Ukraine’s defense needs under martial law conditions. The primary objective is to assess the potential of AI in enhancing the efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness of procurement processes. The methodology involves a systematic risk analysis based on the ISO 31000 standard, adapted to the specifics of the defense sector, as well as the application of machine learning and natural language processing technologies to automate risk assessment. The key findings indicate a 30% reduction in document processing time, a 15% decrease in corruption risks, and an 85% accuracy rate in predicting supply chain disruptions. A tailored AI integration model suited to Ukraine’s context is proposed. The conclusions emphasize the critical importance of AI implementation for national security while highlighting the need to strengthen cybersecurity measures and develop ethical standards for its broader application.
