Determinants of Ecosystem Development in a Globally Integrated Society

This study is devoted to identifying and systematizing the determinants of social ecosystem development in a globally integrated society, which is characterized by accelerating transformations and an unprecedented level of complexity. The aim of the article is to form a holistic methodological approach to studying the dynamic interaction of these factors for developing effective strategies for managing social transformations. The study employs theoretical analysis, systematization, and classification of determinants (technological, socio-economic, and institutional) to form a holistic methodological approach for examining their dynamic and nonlinear interaction within the social ecosystems of a globally integrated society.
A typology of technological determinants (AI, Big Data, Blockchain, IoT, and digital platforms) was established and their mechanisms of influence on social ecosystems were systematized, which allowed the identification of a key trend: the shift from reactive to proactive models of social intervention, capable of predicting and preventing social problems. Key socio-economic challenges were systematized (including digital inequality, precarization of labor, and the transformation of vulnerable groups) and corresponding adaptive strategies were proposed (digital literacy programs, new forms of social protection) which combine technological capabilities with social justice. The evolution of the state's role from a «service provider» model to an «ecosystem facilitator» model was proven and the necessity of hybrid models of network governance was substantiated. The decisive role of institutional proximity (shared values) for forming effective cooperation networks among ecosystem actors was emphasized. At the same time, technological progress is uneven: it deepens socio-economic challenges, primarily digital inequality (manifesting in uneven access, skills, and outcomes) and the precarization of labor. It was proven that digital capital is becoming the fourth fundamental capital, significantly influencing social stratification in contemporary society.

Institutional determinants play a decisive role by creating structural frameworks: the state evolves from a «service provider» to an «ecosystem facilitator», necessitating a transition to hybrid models of network governance,. The increasing role of non-state actors and the importance of institutional proximity (shared values) for forming effective cooperation networks are emphasized.
The conclusions emphasize that the determinants exist in a complex, dynamic, and non-linear interaction, creating effects that are impossible to predict through isolated analysis. Successful management of social transformations (hybridization of labor, circular economy, personalization of services) depends on an integrated approach that combines technological capabilities, social justice, and adaptive institutional mechanisms, ensuring a humane and inclusive system of development.
