Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of this study is to generalize contemporary approaches to strategic supply chain management under conditions of global disruptions, wartime risks, and market instability, as well as to identify tools for ensuring supply chain resilience, adaptability, and long-term efficiency.

Methods. The study employs a combination of general scientific and specialized research methods, including analysis and synthesis, comparison, generalization, a systems approach, statistical analysis, and logical modeling. The information base comprises scholarly publications on supply chain management, statistical data on the dynamics of Ukraine’s foreign trade, and indicators reflecting the performance of the transport and logistics sector.

Results. The findings indicate that the intensification of global instability and wartime challenges leads to structural changes in supply chain organization, resulting in the reconfiguration of logistics routes, diversification of resource supply channels, and expansion of interorganizational cooperation mechanisms. It has been proven that the transformation of Ukraine’s export and import flows is accompanied by shifts in sectoral priorities and an increasing role of sectors capable of maintaining relative stability under crisis conditions. The study reveals that the effectiveness of logistics systems depends on the degree of integration of risk management tools, resource redundancy measures, and mechanisms for rapid response to disruptions in flow processes. It is substantiated that contemporary supply chain management models should be based on the integration of strategic planning, digital technologies, predictive analytics, and partnership coordination. The research also demonstrates that the use of digital platforms and analytical tools enhances the transparency of logistics processes, improves the efficiency of managerial decision-making, and strengthens enterprises’ ability to adapt to dynamic environmental changes. Furthermore, the feasibility of implementing hybrid management models that combine economic efficiency with a high level of resilience to risk factors has been confirmed.

Conclusions. It is substantiated that the development of strategic supply chain management in contemporary conditions should focus on ensuring the resilience of logistics systems while simultaneously fostering their antifragility. The key factors contributing to the improved effectiveness of supply chain operations include the digitalization of management processes, the integration of risk-oriented approaches, the diversification of resource provision, and the development of strategic partnerships.
