Abstract

The relevance of the study is determined by the deepening of international integration processes, the accelerating digital transformation of the economy, and the need to adapt contractual relations to contemporary technological, environmental, and legal challenges. These processes are of particular importance for Ukraine in the context of European integration, post-war recovery, and the development of an innovation-driven model of economic growth. Purpose. The study aims to substantiate the strategic aspects of regulating contractual relations in international integration under conditions of innovative transformation and to determine the role of digitalization, ESG principles, and legal harmonization in strengthening international economic cooperation, enhancing innovation and investment attractiveness, and creating the prerequisites for Ukraine’s innovative recovery. Methods. The research employs the methods of analysis and synthesis, systematization, generalization, comparative legal analysis, and structural-logical modeling. Results. The strategic directions of the innovative transformation of international integration and their influence on the development of contractual regulation are identified. The role of digitalization in modernizing contractual mechanisms and improving international economic cooperation is substantiated. The study determines the specific features of integrating ESG principles into international contractual relations and their impact on the investment attractiveness of enterprises and access to international financing. The necessity of harmonizing national legislation with European and international legal standards is demonstrated as a prerequisite for strengthening international cooperation, increasing business competitiveness, and implementing innovative projects. Conclusions. The effectiveness of contemporary contractual regulation within international integration is determined by the interaction of legal, digital, innovative, and ESG-related factors. The key directions for its further improvement include continued legal harmonization, the development of digital contractual mechanisms, the integration of ESG principles into contractual practice, and the creation of favorable conditions for enhancing the innovation and investment attractiveness of enterprises and supporting the innovative recovery of Ukraine’s economy.
