The purpose of the article is to explore the close relationship between the concepts of "sustainable economy" and "quality of life" and highlight their impact on the overall well-being of society.
The article uses the methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, and scientific abstraction, which are key to a deep understanding of complex economic processes.
Results. In the course of the study, it was revealed that the concepts of "sustainable economy" and "quality of life" are interconnected and define two key dimensions of the general welfare of society. A sustainable economy, capable of ensuring stable economic growth, contributes to job creation and improved access to essential services. On the other hand, the quality of life of the population, including healthcare and education, is determined by economic stability. It was also found that a healthy and educated population enhances economic productivity, and a society with a high quality of life strives to preserve the environment.
The development of effective policies should consider the interconnection of these concepts to ensure holistic development and sustainable prosperity of the economic potential of specific territories.
The research emphasizes the importance of resource management, innovation, and social policies in achieving sustainable economic development. Investments in renewable energy sources and green infrastructure, as well as prioritizing education and healthcare, contribute not only to economic stability but also to the improvement of quality of life and the preservation of the environment.
On the path to a sustainable economy and improvement in the quality of life, undoubtedly, there are challenges and obstacles. Resistance to change, personal interest in unstable practices, and the complexity of global issues can impede progress. However, the experience of European Union countries shows that with commitment and awareness, sustainable economic development and a high quality of life for the population can be ensured.
Conclusions. The concepts of "economic sustainability" and "quality of life for the population" are closely interconnected and influence each other, requiring a comprehensive approach. Ensuring a balance between economic growth, social development, and environmental responsibility is strategically important for the stable and sustainable development of society. Through responsible resource use, technological innovation, social inclusivity, and global cooperation, society can shape an economic model that not only supports economic growth but also enhances the overall quality of life for current and future generations.
