The purpose of the article is to reveal the influence of international accounting standards on accounting practice in Ukraine, focusing on identifying the advantages and challenges that accompany the process of their implementation.
The article uses the methods of analysis, synthesis and scientific abstraction, which contributes to an objective and comprehensive analysis and understanding of the issue of the implementation of international accounting standards in Ukraine. Application of the analysis method allows considering the impact of standards on accounting practice in the context of their effectiveness and challenges. The synthesis method helps to bring together different aspects of standards implementation in a systematic approach to understand the full range of opportunities and limitations. Scientific abstraction makes it possible to single out key trends that affect the effectiveness of the implementation of standards in Ukrainian practice.
The results. The article notes that the advantages of implementing international accounting standards in Ukraine are: reducing risks for creditors and investors, simplifying access to credit and financial resources, as well as reducing the costs of developing standards. The existence of the following challenges is also indicated: the need for large financial and human resources to adapt to the new rules, as well as insufficient qualification of personnel and costs for training and updating systems. It is noted that the successful implementation of standards requires effective communication with all interested parties and careful monitoring of the adaptation process.
The conclusion states that, in general, the implementation of international accounting standards creates opportunities for increasing transparency and trust in the financial reporting of Ukrainian companies, which contributes to the attractiveness of potential investors and creditors. However, given the peculiarities of the Ukrainian business environment, such as the level of infrastructure development and the legal system, it is important to address the challenges associated with adaptation to new standards and the insufficient number of qualified personnel. It is also necessary to actively promote the education and training of specialists, as well as to develop an effective control and audit system to ensure compliance with international standards and stimulate the stability of the financial market.
