Abstract

It is determined that the primary trend in the development of the postal and e-commerce markets is their close relationship and mutual influence. The developed postal infrastructure creates a reliable basis for the growth of e-commerce, ensuring efficient delivery of goods to consumers. In turn, the rapid development of e-commerce is a powerful incentive to modernize the postal industry, introduce innovative solutions, and expand the range of logistics services. This interaction forms a vicious cycle of mutual reinforcement, contributing to both markets' dynamic development. The article analyzes the interaction factors between the postal and e-commerce markets that affect their status and development. The key factors of interaction between these markets are identified as follows: economic, technological, regulatory, and behavioral. These interaction factors form the basis for developing integrated postal and e-commerce markets, contributing to their mutual growth and competitiveness. The analysis showed that the key barriers to interaction between the markets are uneven infrastructure development, differences in customs regulations, a lack of innovative technologies, and high costs of logistics operations.

Analyzing these factors allowed us to identify the key aspects that determine the effectiveness of interaction between the postal and e-commerce markets and identify areas for further development.

Our proposed ways of developing interaction will help strengthen both markets' competitiveness and mutual growth.

We have identified the challenges that slow down their development and reduce efficiency, and the main problems related to infrastructure, regulation, technology, economy, and consumer expectations.

The study's results allow us to outline opportunities for optimizing postal operators' work in the context of e-commerce growth. The proposed recommendations for improving the interaction between the e-commerce and postal markets will contribute to the development of these markets, improve the quality of customer service, and increase companies' competitiveness in the global market.
