The aim of the study was to analyze trends and prospects for the development of livestock in Ukraine, to identify ways to increase the competitiveness of livestock products in the conditions of a post-industrial circular economy, and to develop a model for increasing the competitiveness of livestock products. The study was based on the analysis of statistical data, as well as on expert opinions of scientists and their own observations. The article uses a systematic approach to identify key factors affecting the competitiveness of livestock products, and develops a model for increasing competitiveness based on digitalization, environmental requirements, and principles of the circular economy. The study found a decrease in the number of cattle and sheep in Ukraine, while the number of pigs is increasing. The analysis showed that the competitiveness of livestock products can be increased through the introduction of digital technologies, automation, and artificial intelligence, as well as through the implementation of environmental and circular economy principles. The developed model for increasing competitiveness includes the use of automated systems for process management, technologies for monitoring product quality and practices to reduce negative environmental impact. The results of the study can be used to develop strategies for the development of livestock farming in Ukraine and increase the competitiveness of livestock products.
