The relevance of competitive monitoring in the logistics business lies in the constant need of the logistics operators – competing companies on the country's logistics market to study the peculiarities of each other's management, to study the list of services, prices and tariffs of competitors, to evaluate and to adopt different innovative technologies that are implemented in daily operational activities. The purpose of the article is to study the advantages and disadvantages, techniques and methods of competitive monitoring in the logistics business, to research the methods of increasing of the efficiency of the logistics operator and gaining the advantages in the competition, to compare three leading logistics operators of Ukraine from the point of view of the practical benchmarking process. To achieve the purpose and objectives of the research, the following methods are used in the article: case method and the method of analogies in analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of competitive monitoring in logistics business; the method of comparison in the part of competitive monitoring of UkrPoshta, Meest Poshta and Nova Poshta; in the part of comparison of techniques and methods of business intelligence of logistics operators; the method of generalization in the part of establishing the main sources of information about competitors in the logistics business; in the part of researching the methods of logistics business results improving in competition. The results obtained in the article are the following: practical cases that characterize the advantages and disadvantages of competitive monitoring in the logistics business; goals of benchmarking in logistics business; methods of improving the logistics business results; a table of comparative analysis of the three leading logistics operators of Ukraine from the point of view of the practical benchmarking process. The originality/value of this descriptive and practical work is the systematization of advantages, disadvantages, methods of competitive monitoring in the logistics business; the method of comparing of the competing enterprises that represent the logistics business of Ukraine.
