Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the role of statistics in the personnel management of the enterprise, its use to assess the effectiveness of personnel processes and to make substantiated management decisions.

Purpose. The goal of the study is to determine the essence and place of statistics in the personnel management system, to substantiate the theoretical and method principles of using statistical tools to ensure effective personnel management and to develop practical recommendations to improve the statistical support of this process.

Methods. The methodical basis of the study is general scientific and special methods. In particular, theoretical generalization and scientific abstraction for formulating the main provisions of the study; system analysis for studying complex personnel management processes; comparative analysis for identifying the features of using statistical tools in various situations and needs; as well as methods of synthesis, induction and deduction for generalizing results and formulating conclusions.

Results. The article considers and discloses the concept of personnel management. The importance of personnel management in the overall management system is determined. Attention is focused on the growing role of statistics in the enterprise management system. The feasibility and importance of using statistics in the personnel management process are substantiated and emphasized. The main areas of application of statistical tools in personnel management are detailed. The goals, main approaches and methods of statistical assessment in the personnel management process are determined. The main statistical tools are characterized as appropriate for improving the personnel management system. Problems are identified and areas for improving the personnel management process based on statistical analysis methods are substantiated.

Conclusions. The use of statistical methods allows not only to assess the current state of human resources, but also to predict possible changes, identify reserves for increasing labor productivity, reduce costs and optimize personnel policy. Statistical analysis allows the management of the enterprise to make more informed decisions that ensure the harmonious development of the enterprise and meet the needs of employees. The use of statistics as an integral part of the personnel management system will help to adapt to changes in the labor market in a timely manner, improve the quality of management decisions and ensure the sustainable development of the enterprise in the long term.
