Abstract

The article examines the mechanisms of variation of the efficiency indicator of the Ukrainian economy – its competitiveness, which is a key indicator of economic development and structural transformations. Based on the analysis of the budget policy of Ukraine as the subject of the study, attention is paid to the distribution of public funds and their dynamics along unchanged directions over 10 years. The object of the study is the competitiveness indicator, which allows assessing the impact of key components of budget expenditures on the country's economic development.

The study is based on macroeconomic analysis using financial data available in open sources and focuses on the relationships between budget policy, monetary and industrial strategies aimed at increasing competitiveness. The work also focuses on structural transformations that stimulate economic growth and market stabilization.

The results of the study can be useful for developing strategies for state development planning, optimizing the allocation of budget funds and forming policies focused on long-term economic growth.
