Purpose of the article - research on theoretical aspects of human resource management in the enterprise management system under modern market economy conditions. Methods. The article employs sophisticated methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, and a dialectical approach. Its theoretical foundation is grounded in research conducted by domestic scholars. Results. The main attention is paid to revealing the essence and content of the concept of "human resource management system" in the modern management system of the enterprise. The article notes that for the effective implementation and evaluation of human resource management, it is necessary to have four components (informational, organizational, resource and methodological management support), which are closely interconnected and form the management infrastructure. The relationship between these factors (components) and the human resource management process is determined. It has been studied that the assessment of the level of implementation of management functions includes several stages, the study of which reveals new information about the essential characteristics of processes and the relationships between elements and objects of the personnel management system. The principles for building an econometric model have been determined: the principle of consistency, the principle of specificity, the principle of optimizing the description of the object of study, the principle of compromise, the principle of balance of accuracy, the principle of diversity and completeness, the principle of criterion certainty, the principle of quantitative certainty of assessment, the principle of state assessment and coordination of measurements, the principle of independence. A model for analyzing the human resource management system has been proposed, consisting of three interrelated levels of analysis: an analysis of the development level of the HR management system, an analysis of the HR management department, and an analysis of the efficiency of the HR management system. Conclusions. Building an effective personnel management system is a rather laborious and energy-consuming process that requires the enterprise to accumulate maximum experience in determining the strategy of the enterprise as a whole and its personnel. Moreover, it is worth noting that any system, including the human resource management system, is dynamic and constantly evolving and improving.
