The purpose of the study is to substantiate and develop practical recommendations for assessing the impact of socio-humanitarian transformations on the economic security of Ukraine’s higher education system under full-scale war. It emphasizes the necessity of a comprehensive analysis of social life aspects, identifying their influence on the resilience of higher education institutions and their economic security.
The methods applied in the study included logical analysis, theoretical generalization, induction, deduction, comparative analysis, structural-functional analysis, and forecasting. Their application enabled a systematic approach to assessing the impact of socio-humanitarian transformations on the economic security of Ukraine’s higher education system.
The results indicate that forced socio-humanitarian transformations caused by the war affect all aspects of social life, including global trends and developments in Ukraine’s higher education sector, considering various influencing factors such as demographic, market, cultural, social, infrastructural, and international aspects. The study identifies the most significant risks critical to the economic security of the higher education system, along with a range of positive changes.
The conclusions of the study outline a set of measures to ensure the viability of the higher education system under full-scale war conditions. The hypothesis that implementing these measures will help minimize the negative effects of transformation processes and enhance the resilience of Ukraine’s higher education and the economic security of its institutions has been formulated and gradually substantiated. Future research prospects lie in evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed measures and developing an improved scientific and methodological approach to ensuring the economic security of higher education institutions during wartime and the post-war economic recovery of Ukraine.
