Abstract

In today's increasingly interconnected world, the development of international service quality standards is crucial for businesses operating beyond their borders. Globalization has heightened the need for consistent service quality, enabling companies to meet diverse consumer needs while navigating various regulatory environments. This article analyzes the development of these standards, highlighting the challenges and opportunities that arise in the international market. The relevance of this topic lies in the necessity of harmonized standards that facilitate international trade by reducing barriers and strengthening consumer trust. When entering international markets, businesses encounter different cultural perceptions of quality and various regulatory systems. These differences create significant challenges in maintaining consistent service delivery, ultimately affecting competitiveness and customer satisfaction. The aim of this study is to analyze how international service quality standards evolve in response to the challenges of globalization. By examining the roles of international organizations, governments, and the private sector, the article sheds light on their collective efforts necessary to create standards that are both universal and adaptable to local specificities. Methods: analysis, literature review, synthesis, systematization, and generalization. The research results show that international service quality standards promote market integration and innovation but also face obstacles such as resistance from local industries, cultural differences, and rapid technological changes. The development and implementation of such standards require significant resources and strategic planning, indicating the need for their constant updating to remain relevant in a rapidly transforming global market. Thus, international service quality standards play a vital role in strengthening global market integration and enhancing customer experience. By addressing globalization-induced challenges, these standards help bridge the gap between market needs and the necessity for consistency. The study emphasizes the importance of cooperation among stakeholders in forming effective, forward-looking standards that can adapt to the dynamic global trading environment. Ultimately, the development of robust international service quality standards is essential for building trust, reducing trade barriers, and fostering sustainable growth in the global economy.
