For Ukraine, where social tourism did not have a legal status, was not recognized at the state level identical to the European one, the problem of its development seems to lie in a distant peaceful perspective. However, in order to support the population, build a modern society, and initiate its sustainable forms and models, it is extremely important to develop social tourism already now.
The low effectiveness of the implementation of social tourism projects requires the initiation of joint responsibility of the state, employers, investors, and society in terms of the realization of the right to receive social tourism services by citizens of the country.
The purpose of the article is to use the example of implemented projects of social tourism in Vinnytsia to prove the possibility and perspective of its development in the conditions of martial law.
To this end, for scientists, state institutions, representatives of the tourism business, potential investors and sponsors who work in Ukraine to solve the problems of domestic social tourism, the article reviews implemented social tourism projects in Vinnytsia under martial law, outlines additional opportunities that allow to give this sphere not only a legal status, but also to integrate it as a separate direction in the social development programs of the population at the regional level.
Models of the development of social tourism and their application in the conditions of martial law are considered. The importance of ensuring social responsibility as a concept that integrates the national strategy, universal human values and ethical behavior of tourist organizations, tourists, workers, authorities, public society institutions is determined. The thesis was formulated that the new projects will not only contribute to the development of social tourism, but also increase the general availability and inclusiveness of tourist services in the city of Vinnytsia, strengthening the reputation of tourism companies as socially responsible businesses.
The formation of social tourism in Ukraine, thus, can become not only an important factor of social integration, but also a powerful catalyst for economic growth and development of the tourism industry.
