The article examines the impact of digital transformation on the efficiency of modeling business processes in the regional economy in the context of dynamic changes, digitalization, infrastructure inequality, and the need for innovative updating of management systems. The relevance of the study is substantiated in the context of the need to adapt the regional business environment to digital challenges and transformations of the modern economic landscape.
The purpose of the study is to determine the theoretical and applied foundations of digital transformation and its impact on the efficiency of modeling business processes in regional economic systems, as well as to develop approaches to improving the efficiency of management in the digital economy.
The methodological basis of the study is a set of interdisciplinary approaches: structural and functional analysis, comparative analysis of domestic and foreign experience, graphical modeling, analysis of bibliometric data, systematization of digital tools that affect business processes in the regions.
The study analyzes theoretical and methodological approaches to digital transformation and business process modeling; summarizes the stages of digital transformation of the economy and their characteristics; identifies the main components of digital business transformation; and focuses on changing managerial philosophy and organizational culture as important aspects of digital transformation. A scheme of factors of digitalization of the regional economy is formed. Digital tools are typologized according to the level of their impact on the main business functions, such as planning, analytics, customer interaction, logistics and risk management.
The conclusions summarize that digital transformation is a strategic factor in regional development that can increase the productivity of enterprises, adaptability to change, competitiveness and investment attractiveness of territories. The results of the study can be used in the development of digital development policies, optimization of business processes in regional clusters, and creation of effective models of digital adaptation.
