The impact of digitalization and innovative technologies on increasing the economic security of the construction complex

Abstract

In the current conditions of economic instability and transformation of the global environment, ensuring the economic security of the construction complex is a priority task for state policy and development strategies. The study's relevance is due to the need to form scientifically sound approaches to integrating digital solutions into the economic security management system, taking into account the specifics of the construction industry of Ukraine in the context of economic cyclicality.

The article aims to substantiate the role of digitalization in strengthening the economic security of enterprises in the construction sector by analyzing the potential of digital technologies in the processes of management, production and adaptation to macroeconomic changes. The study used systemic, functional, and structural-analytical approaches, which allowed for the assessment of the relationship between the level of digital development of enterprises and their economic stability. The methodological basis was the methods of comparative analysis, generalization, and induction, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of implementing innovative solutions in management practice.

The study found that the integration of ERP/CRM systems, the use of information modeling (BIM), analytical platforms based on artificial intelligence, as well as the implementation of cybersecurity systems have a positive impact on reducing costs, reducing production risks and reducing the impact of the human factor. Recommendations have been developed for using digital tools in enterprises' management strategies, allowing them to increase their adaptability to economic challenges. The study also revealed a significant gap in the levels of digital transformation between large and medium-sized companies, which indicates the need to develop a state policy of digital support for small and medium-sized businesses in construction.

The conclusions confirm the effectiveness of the proposed management approaches for strengthening enterprises' resilience in economic instability. The proposed approaches can be applied in strategic planning, risk management and preparation of sectoral programs for digital development. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the systematization of digital solutions through the prism of economic security of the construction complex. Prospects for further research are modeling scenarios of digital transformation and developing indicators to monitor its impact on the economic security of the construction sector in dynamics.
