Modern global transformations, caused by geopolitical challenges, energy instability, military conflicts and economic crises, create difficult conditions for the development of national economies. The search for effective strategies for economic recovery is becoming critically important for ensuring the stability of states, increasing competitiveness and adapting to global risks. Particularly relevant is the study of the possibilities of using innovative approaches in the recovery of the economies of different groups of countries. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to analyze the impact of modern geopolitical challenges on the economic dynamics of states and identify effective innovative strategies for the recovery of economies in different geographical and economic contexts. Methods. The work uses a complex of economic-analytical and comparative methods, including system analysis, comparative analysis of development strategies of countries with different levels of economic development, as well as analysis of practical cases using open statistical data and information from international organizations. Results. The study showed that developed countries (USA, EU, Japan) implement strategies for diversifying energy resources, stimulating innovation and localizing critical industries. Developing countries are reorienting their foreign economic relations to regional markets, and conflict-affected states are combining international assistance, structural reforms, and digital technologies to restore economic activity. It has been found that such approaches form a “window of opportunity” for innovative recovery strategies, combining technological, environmental, and institutional tools. Conclusions. The integrated use of innovative technologies, green transformation, and institutional modernization allows states to transform crisis factors into growth mechanisms, increase the efficiency of resource management, and create competitive advantages in the face of global instability. The results of the study can serve as a practical basis for the formation of state policies for economic recovery and strategies for increasing the resilience of the economy to modern geopolitical risks.
