Organization of hotel and restaurant recreational services as a factor in the development of the region's productive forces

The scientific article studies the organization of recreational services in the hotel and restaurant industry as a key factor in the development of the productive forces of the Volyn tourist region. The current state and trends in the development of the tourism and recreation industry of the region are analyzed, revealing its potential for economic growth. The purpose of the article is to identify and analyze the impact of the organization of recreational services in the hotel and restaurant industry on the development of the productive forces of the region. To achieve this goal, theoretical research methods such as analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction were used, which allowed us to study and generalize scientific approaches to the organization of recreational services. In addition, empirical methods (statistical analysis, comparative, factor analysis) were used to assess the impact of recreational activities on the economy of the region. The article analyzes recreational services in the hotel and restaurant industry, which are aimed at restoring physical and emotional strength, satisfying the cultural and entertainment needs of tourists in the Volyn tourist region. A developed network of accommodation establishments is the basis of the tourism potential of the Volyn region, providing the necessary infrastructure for the reception and comfortable stay of tourists and visitors, with the leading position of the Volyn region and certain specializations in the Zhytomyr and Rivne regions. The dynamics of the provision of restaurant services in the Volyn tourist region have been studied, which allows us to state that the net income of the restaurant business in the region in 2023 is greater than in 2022. The organization of recreational services in the hotel and restaurant industry plays a key role in the dynamic development of the productive forces of the Volyn region, creating a multifaceted impact on its human potential, means of labor, natural resources and innovative mechanisms. This impact is manifested in comprehensive growth and modernization, turning the region into an attractive center for both tourists and investors. Assessment of the scale and nature of the impact of the existing organization of recreational services of the hotel and restaurant industry on the socio-economic development of the region indicates a significant, but often underutilized potential, covering both economic and social aspects.
