Innovative approaches to crisis management in the system of updating an organization's operational strategy

Abstract

In today's climate of global instability and high economic turbulence, organizations are increasingly faced with crisis situations that significantly affect their operations and economic security. Traditional response methods are no longer always capable of providing sufficient flexibility and speed of adaptation, which is why the use of innovative approaches to crisis management is becoming particularly important. The purpose of this article is to study the essence of crisis management and justify the role of innovative methods in the system of updating the operational strategy of organizations. To achieve this goal, general scientific and special methods of cognition were used, in particular, analysis, synthesis, a systematic approach, and methods of strategic forecasting.

The results of the study showed that innovative approaches to risk management include digital technologies for monitoring and forecasting risks, the use of artificial intelligence to model scenarios, the use of big data and analytical platforms for rapid information processing, and the introduction of new models of communication and business continuity. The introduction of such solutions significantly reduces response times, minimizes the human factor, and increases the resilience of organizations to external and internal threats. Particular attention is paid to the role of innovation in building adaptive operational strategies that can change in response to unpredictable environmental challenges.

The article proves that for Ukrainian organizations, innovative crisis management is not only a mechanism for overcoming risks, but also a tool for strategic renewal. The use of modern technologies and management solutions allows increasing the level of economic security, ensuring the continuity of key processes, and creating prerequisites for long-term development in the context of globalization and military challenges. Thus, innovative approaches to crisis management form the basis for integrating flexibility, rapid adaptation, and proactivity into operational strategy, which is a determining factor in the competitiveness of organizations at the present stage.
