Abstract

The article provides analytical research into the development of the logistics infrastructure of the border regions of Ukraine with the EU. The role and significance of the region's logistics infrastructure in the development of the national and regional economies are substantiated. It is noted that the optimal logistics infrastructure will allow optimizing flows both within the region and outside it, reducing the costs of business entities for transportation, storage, distribution, customs clearance and other logistics services and thus satisfying the needs of the region's population in necessary goods. It is found that the advantageous geopolitical location of Ukraine contributes to the flow of transit flows. The length of transport highways of the border regions of Ukraine with the EU is analyzed. The indicators characterizing the transport infrastructure of the regions are studied. It is proved that an important element of the logistics infrastructure is the presence of enterprises-suppliers of the trade network. Ukraine has all types of warehouses necessary for storing various inventories. An analysis of the indicators of available warehouse space in the border regions of the country is carried out. It is substantiated that logistics centers perform the functions of storage, transshipment, sorting and delivery of cargo, which makes them key elements in transport and economic relations between regions and countries. Analytical studies of the dynamics of logistics centers in the border regions of the country with the EU have been conducted. It is concluded that there is an uneven level of development of logistics infrastructure in the regions of Ukraine, where some regions have great potential for growth and improvement of logistics processes, while others require significant investments in the development of logistics infrastructure, modernization of transport, implementation of digital technologies to increase efficiency.
