The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the formation of a mechanism for implementing the national strategy for the development of Ukraine’s metallurgical industry up to 2035, focusing on institutional, financial, and technological components. The strategic role of the metallurgical sector in the national economy is defined, and structural changes and challenges faced by the industry due to deindustrialization, loss of traditional markets, global competition, and the destructive consequences of war are outlined. The need for a comprehensive and coordinated approach to implementing the Metallurgical Industry Development Strategy through 2035 is substantiated. The study covers the institutional component (state industrial policy, regulatory framework, institutions and support programs), the financial component (mobilization of state, private and international resources for reconstruction and modernization), and the technological component (implementation of innovations, new production technologies, environmental standards). Proposals are developed to strengthen institutional support, attract investment, and accelerate technological modernization of the industry. It is determined that successful implementation of the national strategy is possible provided there is synergy of these components and consideration of regional specifics.
