Abstract

The current business environment is characterized by increasing uncertainty and growing complexity in supply chains, which highlights the importance of effective supplier risk management using digital technologies.

Objective. To investigate the role of the digitalization of supplier risk management as a tool for enhancing the economic resilience of enterprises in the context of an unstable external environment, disruptions in logistics, and growing uncertainty.

Methods. The study employs a systematic approach to generalize the interrelationships between supplier risk management and economic resilience, structural-logical analysis to identify digital risk management tools, comparative analysis to generalize approaches to interpreting resilience and digitalization, as well as an abstract-logical method to draw conclusions regarding the impact of digital technologies on enterprise resilience.

Results. The main digital tools for supplier risk management have been systematized, specifically integration tools (ERP, SCM), analytical tools (data analytics, BI, AI), and monitoring technologies (IoT, RFID). It has been established that their application facilitates a transition from reactive to proactive risk management, improves the timeliness and quality of management decisions, reduces information asymmetry, and contributes to the reduction of operational risks. It is demonstrated that an enterprise’s economic resilience is a comprehensive characteristic that combines stability, adaptability, and the ability to recover. The connection between the digitalization of supplier risk management and the strengthening of enterprises’ ability to operate under crisis conditions is substantiated.

Conclusions. The digitalization of supplier risk management is a key factor in building enterprises’ economic resilience. Its implementation increases supply chain transparency, optimizes costs, reduces risk levels, and enhances enterprises’ adaptability. Further research should focus on developing methodological approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of digital tools and modeling the level of digital maturity of supplier risk management systems.
