The article is dedicated to the study of the epistemological aspects of the crisis phenomenon and the nature of crisis management through a comparative analysis of EU countries. The research aims to analyze the epistemological aspects of crises and the effectiveness of crisis management in EU countries to develop universal models and recommendations for enhancing the resilience of economies to crisis phenomena. A comprehensive approach was used for the study, including an analysis of scientific literature, a comparative study of the policies of different EU countries, and expert evaluations. Quantitative and qualitative analysis methods were applied for data analysis. The research revealed that the effectiveness of crisis management depends on a complex set of factors, including institutional capacity, the level of social cohesion, decision-making speed, and economic flexibility. The comparative analysis of EU countries allowed for the identification of best practices and the detection of gaps in crisis management. The results indicate the necessity of an integrated approach to crisis management that combines economic, social, and political aspects. Early crisis detection, scenario development, and coordination of actions at various management levels play crucial roles. Additionally, the study emphasizes the need for continuous learning and adaptation to new challenges. Special attention is given to mechanisms for crisis prevention and the minimization of their consequences, as well as the study of the impact of crises on various sectors of the economy and society. The analysis showed that successful crisis management strategies include not only economic measures but also social initiatives aimed at supporting the most vulnerable segments of the population and political reforms that ensure stability and predictability in managerial decisions. The research conclusions underscore the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to the development and implementation of crisis management strategies, as well as the need for international cooperation to exchange experiences and coordinate actions.
