Improving the Management of Enterprise Logistics Activities under Digitalization Conditions

Abstract

The relevance of the research is determined by the growing role of logistics in ensuring the effective functioning of enterprises under conditions of economic digitalization, high market dynamism, intensified competition, and transformation of supply chains. Modern enterprises operate in conditions of constant change accompanied by the necessity for rapid response to market challenges, cost optimization, improvement of management processes, and implementation of digital technologies in logistics activities. These issues become especially relevant under conditions of military risks, disruption of transport and logistics routes, and instability of the external environment, which determines the need to increase the adaptability and efficiency of logistics management systems. The purpose of the article is to study the theoretical and practical aspects of enterprise logistics management and to substantiate directions for its improvement under digitalization conditions. In the course of the research, general scientific and special methods were used, including methods of analysis and synthesis, generalization, system approach, comparative analysis, economic analysis, and graphical presentation of results. The article summarizes modern scientific approaches to defining the essence of logistics management and investigates the peculiarities of logistics enterprises functioning under modern economic conditions. The analysis of the enterprise’s logistics activities was carried out and the logistics operations management system was evaluated. It was established that the effectiveness of logistics management largely depends on the level of coordination of material, informational, and financial flows, the use of modern digital instruments, and the integration of logistics processes. Based on the research results, the main problems of enterprise logistics management were identified and directions for their solution were substantiated. Measures aimed at improving the logistics management system, optimizing logistics processes, increasing the efficiency of enterprise resource utilization, and strengthening the digitalization of management processes were proposed. The implementation of the proposed measures will contribute to increasing the efficiency of enterprise activities, strengthening competitive positions, and ensuring sustainable development under conditions of the modern market environment.
