Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the key components of knowledge management, determine their impact on organizational competitiveness, and develop recommendations for their practical implementation. Knowledge management is considered a strategic resource capable of enhancing productivity, stimulating innovation, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of organizations in today’s globalized environment. The research methodology includes a systematic approach to analyzing knowledge management processes, a review of contemporary scientific literature, case studies of KM system implementation in leading companies (Google, Siemens, Toyota), and identifying the key challenges accompanying this process. Analytical methods were also employed to assess the role of knowledge management tools, such as knowledge-sharing platforms, intranet systems, and analytical tools. The research findings indicate that implementing effective knowledge management systems allows organizations to improve information exchange, integrate knowledge into business processes, enhance innovation activity, and maintain competitive market positions. The study found that key challenges include resistance to change within corporate culture, technical and financial constraints, and the difficulty of measuring the outcomes of KM system implementation. Case studies of leading companies confirm that combining modern technologies, a knowledge-sharing culture, and active leadership is the foundation for success in knowledge management. The conclusions of the article emphasize that knowledge management is a critical element of modern management, contributing to competitiveness, innovation development, and organizational resilience. Recommendations for KM system implementation include fostering a knowledge-sharing culture, integrating innovative technologies, and strengthening the role of leaders in supporting these processes.
