Abstract

Purpose of the research - development of theoretical and methodological foundations for craft production development in the context of digital economic transformation, involving the formation of a comprehensive approach to assessing digital technologies' impact and determining strategic directions for industry development. Research methods: systems analysis and synthesis - for studying the evolution of craft production concept; comparative analysis - for systematizing scientific approaches; statistical methods - for processing empirical data; expert evaluation - for determining indicators' weight coefficients; economic-mathematical modeling - for developing an integral indicator; graphical method - for visualizing research results. Results. A systematic analysis of craft production concept evolution from traditional craftsmanship to an integrated digital business model has been conducted, allowing refinement of the research's conceptual framework. Key elements of the craft production digital transformation ecosystem were identified and analyzed: digital technologies, e-commerce, social networks, and data analytics. Strategic development directions were formed along vectors: technological modernization, omnichannel development, product personalization, business process optimization, digital competencies development, innovative development, sustainable development, and cybersecurity. Conclusions. It has been theoretically proven and practically confirmed that successful digital transformation of craft production requires balanced development of technological, organizational, and competency components while maintaining product uniqueness. The conceptual and categorical apparatus of craft production research has been improved through systematization of approaches and inclusion of digitalization aspects. The proposed assessment methodology and defined strategic directions form a theoretical and methodological foundation for further research and practical implementation of digital technologies in the craft sector of the economy.
