Introduction. In the context of Ukraine's postwar transformation, restoring a stable energy system is a pressing state policy task. The destruction of infrastructure, energy dependence, and sustainable development challenges require a comprehensive strategy ensuring long-term energy security and environmental sustainability. This article examines theoretical and methodological approaches to shaping Ukraine's sustainable energy strategy under postwar conditions. It analyzes contemporary challenges related to infrastructure destruction and war consequences, emphasizing the urgent need for rapid restoration of reliability and reserves. Purpose. The aim is to establish fundamental principles integrating economic, ecological, and technological factors. Methods. A comprehensive approach involving analysis of sources, systemic evaluation of the energy sector, and assessment of renewable energy potential and efficiency technologies was employed. Results. Key components include restoration of energy infrastructure, European market integration, renewable energy development, energy efficiency enhancement, and environmental safety. A conceptual state policy model balances economic interests, environmental requirements, and social responsibility. Emphasis is placed on integrating renewables, modernizing infrastructure, and adopting digital technologies for energy consumption management. The article outlines reform directions focused on strengthening European integration and achieving energy independence. Institutional and legal mechanisms for strategic policy planning and implementation are highlighted. Conclusion. This strategy forms a foundational framework for shaping national energy policy, supporting Ukraine’s energy independence and sustainable development goals. Research results offer practical recommendations and regulatory frameworks to ensure stable energy development in the postwar period, useful for scientific studies and policymaking in energy security, sustainability, and economic recovery.
