The article examines the impact of the war in Ukraine on the market behavior of enterprises, the transformation of market supply, and the change in the structure of economic costs during the period of martial law.
The relevance of the topic is due to the need for a comprehensive analysis of the functioning of business entities in conditions of deep economic instability, disruption of production and logistics processes, reduction of labor resources, and increased uncertainty. Military actions have caused significant changes in the structure of enterprise costs, mechanisms for forming market supply, management systems, and strategies for adapting business to crisis conditions, which requires scientific understanding and the development of practical recommendations to ensure the economic stability of enterprises.
The purpose of the article is to determine the features of the impact of the war on the market behavior of enterprises, study the transformation of the supply of goods and services, analyze changes in the structure of economic costs, and substantiate the mechanisms for adapting enterprises to functioning in a war economy.
To achieve the goal, a complex of general scientific and special research methods was used, in particular methods of analysis and synthesis, comparative and systemic approaches, the generalization method, statistical analysis, as well as elements of microeconomic analysis to assess the behavior of enterprises in crisis conditions.
As a result of the study, it was found that the war significantly affected the economic results of enterprises due to the increase in average and marginal production costs, disruption of supply chains, shortage of energy and labor resources, as well as the need to relocate production facilities. It was determined that the transformation of market supply is manifested in a change in the structure of production, a reduction in the volume of output of certain types of products, reorientation to new sales markets, and the active introduction of digital technologies.
It is proven that enterprises that use anti-crisis management mechanisms, diversify supply and sales channels, and also implement innovative approaches to the organization of business processes demonstrate a higher level of adaptability and competitiveness.
The practical value of the article lies in the possibility of using the obtained results to develop effective enterprise management strategies in conditions of war risks, improve cost minimization mechanisms, increase the economic sustainability of business, and form a state policy to support entrepreneurship during the post-war recovery of the Ukrainian economy.
