The purpose of the article is to generalize and deepen approaches to the study of labor force competitiveness factors and the formation of a comprehensive classification of educational factors that influence the formation and realization of competitive advantages in the labor market. In the course of the study, the following methods were used: analysis and synthesis (when considering individual educational factors of the competitiveness of the labor force and the potential of their complex impact at different levels), generalization and systematization (when building a classification of educational factors of the competitiveness of the labor force); tabular and graphic method (to present research results). Based on the results of the study, classification features were proposed and educational factors of workforce competitiveness were systematized: by level of formation; by level of control; by force of influence; by direction of influence; by type; by the subjects of the action and by the nature of the influence at the stages of labor force reproduction. It is substantiated that the educational factors of labor force competitiveness operate at the level of the educational services market and the labor market, and also depend on their coordinated interaction. It is proposed to consider these factors according to two generalized groups: first, educational factors that form the primary basis of the competitiveness of the labor force in the labor market and which are related to the training of the labor force in the formal education system; and, secondly, educational factors affecting the level of competitiveness and the possibility of its improvement for the employed or unemployed population. It is determined that the classification of educational factors of labor force competitiveness by management levels: factors operating at the mega-, macro-, micro-, meso-, individual levels creates opportunities for the development of systematic measures to minimize risks and create favorable conditions for the formation of competitive advantages and opportunities for their implementation on the labor market.
